Located in the centre of many sightseeing places lies the cosy village of Alhaurín el Grande. Here you will find anything you need; lots of restaurants and bars, ice cream parlors, supermarkets and shops, petrol stations and pharmacies. From Alhaurin el Grande the cities Málaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella are easily accessible. But also the white village of Mijas, Ojén situated on a steep mountain side and the great atmospheric city of Ronda located at an impressive ravine are within reach.
People who love nature will not be bored. Alhaurin el Grande is situated at the Sierra de Mijas where hikers and cyclists/MTB can make great tours. From these mountains you will have an amazing view over the Guadalhorce vally and even Málaga harbour. Of course there are plenty of golf opportunities. Alhaurin el Grande has a golf course on both ends which are Lauro Golf (direction Málaga) and Alhaurin Golf (direction Mijas).
